L is for Luau…day 1

ALOHA… Today we had a LUAU!!! It was such a fun day. As always we did the Pledge of Allegiance, the weather, the days of the week, and the months of the year…then we were off to create our Luau attire…we even listened to Hawaiian music while we worked.

They colored and cut out flowers, and made their own little leis, and strung pieces of paper on yarn to make their very own grass skirts. “This is so fun…” was a very common saying from my little kiddos today. That makes me so happy!!! Learning should be fun.

LOOK AT MY ADORABLE LITTLE HAWAIIAN CHILDREN!!!

Don’t they just look stunning…and they did it all by themselves. Definitely something to be proud of, and they were.

To go with our Luau themed day, we had a fresh pineapple for today's snack. THEY LOVED IT. I only got two pieces of that delicious fresh pineapple. They ate the entire thing!
