A is for Astronaut…day 1

5…4…3…2…1…BLAST OFF!!!

A is for Astronaut. What a great and exciting theme for a week. I had a lot of fun and adventurous things in store for my kids.  After we learned how to write the letter A, and a…it was OFF to start our outer space adventure.

First things first…we had to make our Astronauts.

It was just darling how excited each of them were after all the parts and pieces came together and actually formed something. Look at all of those adorable astronauts.

After our craft project we had Astronaut Pudding. I explained to them that because the moon doesn’t have much gravity, that Astronauts have to eat almost everything out of a bag…. with no utensils.  SO that is exactly what we did.  The kids thought it was so awesome. This is how you make it.

1/8 cup any flavor instant pudding mix
1/4 cup milk (not low fat)

Put both ingredients into a zip-type bag. Close the bag securely. Gently knead mixture until pudding forms. Snip off one of the corners and squeeze the pudding into your mouth.

They loved it. Especially Taylor…she sucked hers right down., and wanted more.

We also had a Moon Rock Toss. Again, because there isn’t much gravity on the moon, the rocks are not heavy like they are here on earth. They thought it was fun that they could throw stuff at each other…of course it was Bridger & Deegan against Addisyn & Taylor.

WHAT A GREAT ADVENTRUE WE HAD TODAY!!!
