This last Thursday we continued the baking theme. There is SO MUCH that you can do with it.
Bb…Bb…Bb…they practiced and practiced. They each LOVE having a turn drawing the letters on the board. I have popsicle sticks with names on them, and every time I draw the first name they chant “I hope she chooses me…” and then the person who went first chooses then next name and they chant it again… It is pretty cute. They get real excited and LOUD!!! Deegan was up first today!!! Look at what a great example he is being for all the others. Those B’s look perfect!!!
B is also for BOAT! We colored and pasted some objects that start with B onto a boat. This became our Bingo Board. We used Buttons for our Bingo pieces. None of them had (or said they had) played Bingo before. We played a couple rounds…making sure EVERYONE got BINGO at least once…this became VERY VERY LOUD! They make me laugh…
B is also for BREADSTICK! Early that morning I had prepared some homemade breadstick dough. After Bingo, the dough was ready. I gave each “Baker” some dough, and told them they could make whatever they wanted out of there breadstick dough.
Addi made a heart
Deegan made a D
Emma made a B
Taylor made a T
Bridger made a paw print
THEY ARE ALL VERY TALENTED.
Look at those good looking breadsticks. We should open a Bakery don’t you think?!
It was a pretty long 12 minuets while they cooked. So it was out of the fridge with the carrots and ranch, and then some apples… when they could finally eat the breadsticks they all thoroughly enjoyed what they had created, and it helped that they tasted so good!
Miss Brandi’s Bakery will open again soon…I am almost sure of it!
I love it Bran...you guys do great work!
